"NATIONAL ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT: A HISTORICAL DEBT WITH MEXICAN WOMEN"
Keywords:
Feminist Economy, Women and Economy, Mexican National Economic Development, Domestic Work, Care WorkAbstract
Paid work has generally been considered by the economy as the only element that contributes to the national economic development of a country. However, in this paper we show that there exists a second important and usually hidden element that takes part of the economic cycle of a country: the domestic and care work, usually, carried out by women. Finally, we show that the 25th Article of the Political Constitution of the United Mexican States has a gender bias.
