Abstract

With the aim of contrasting the violence against women, between pre-pandemic and Covid-19 pandemic phases, and searching statistical-sustainable patterns, data from INEGI were analyzed. No clear patterns were observed in terms of mean or distribution comparisons among both phases. A positive correlation among the values of the violence were detected for these 2 phases, however, no differences among the variabilities were found. The only observed pattern was the absence of variance differences and the presence of positive correlations. The relevance of economical factor for women in terms of random distribution independent of pandemic presence is stressed.
