Situation of the human rights of women in Brazil

Abstract

This document reviews the literature to determine which human rights of women are violated in the country of Brazil. A review of the existing worldwide literature available online was carried out, finding that there is a marked incidence due to the black race. Those who suffer from a double violation of rights, one for being women and the other for being black. Among the violated rights we find: their right to work is violated, gender violence, domestic violence, the existence of femicides and abuses by the police, their right to access to health, reproductive and sexual health, in addition to the right to privacy are violated. Thus, like access to justice. The state is incapable of providing protection for these rights, which is why the role that society has played has been fundamental in being able to demand the role that the State must play for the protection and protection of human rights.
